Clinical Training & Experience

Dr. Asmaro earned his dental degree from Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, graduating with highest honors in 2016. He went on to complete his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware, where he trained in the full scope of oral surgery, including in-office anesthesia, complex extractions, bone grafting, dental implants, and corrective jaw surgery.

Following residency, Dr. Asmaro served as an assistant professor at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where he focused on treating advanced surgical cases and mentoring the next generation of oral surgeons. His work at MUSC sharpened his skills in full arch reconstruction, jaw realignment procedures, and managing complex surgical anatomy—all while staying deeply connected to patient care.

Outside the Office

Originally from the Northeast, Dr. Asmaro enjoys spending time outdoors and cheering for his hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles. When he’s not in surgery, you’ll often find him hiking in national parks, fishing, or relaxing with family and friends.
